  5. Thank you for trying FFG.  This package contains the evaluation version
  6. of FFG, documentation and many batch file examples on how FFG can be
  7. used.
  8.  
  9. Copy FFG to a directory that is on your DOS search path.  The DOS
  10. directory is a good place if you don't already have another place to put
  11. utility programs.
  12.  
  13. Unpack the enclosed ZIP files (DEMO_BAT, UTIL_BAT, GO_BAT) to their own
  14. subdirectories of the FFG directory. They have many useful demo batch
  15. files other information that will help you become familiar with FFG.  The
  16. batch file UNPACKEM.BAT will help with this.
  17.  
  18. For a quick orientation, do the following:
  19.  
  20.    1.  Run the DEMO.
  21.  
  22.    2.  First few pages of the manual (FFG.DOC), especially the quick
  23.        start section.
  24.  
  25.    3.  See the file COMPARE.FFG, which notes some unique features of FFG.
  26.  
  27.    4.  See the file EXAMPLES.FFG, which contains many simple examples.
  28.  
  29.    5.  See the file FFGUSAGE.FAQ, which has questions and answers and
  30.        usage ideas.

  32.    6.  Read the manual!
